Coed division 1 team, The Generals
Silverbacks Park host adult soccer leagues daily across its four professional fields. Games play in the evenings between 6:30 and 11:00pm Monday through Thursday. Currently, there are five leagues running at the park: Men’s Open, Co-Ed, Rec Co-Ed, Men’s Over 30 and Men’s Over 40. Games in Silverbacks Park leagues are 7v7 and run on a nine-week season. The games are made up of 25 min halfs with a 5 min halftime in between.
How to Register
Next season we are adding a recreational co-ed league to Thursday’s line up! Registration for this league is currently open and will remain so until May 6th. To register your team use this link. When registering your team have the following information ready: team name, team color, how you heard about us (blog), and some contact info. After submitting your form you will receive an automatic response, and our League Commissioner will follow up with information on the league. If you do not already have an account in DASH your team should be added by the start of your season. All players should be added to your DASH roster so everyone can see things like the schedule, standings, and money owed. For more information on how to use DASH check out this article.
What to Know before you Start
Silverbacks Park has eight 7v7 turf fields. Players can wear turf shoes or cleats, and shin guards are recommended but not required. But don’t worry, there is no slide tackling in co-ed! We require three women, minimum, on the field at all times, so plain accordingly when building your team. Teams will also need a keeper because we play on full sized goals at Silverbacks Park. Games are 55 minutes long and are played in one of one of the time slots between 6:35pm and 10:15pm.
What is Recreational Co-Ed like?
Silverbacks Park Recreational Co-Ed is a way to burn some calories with some friends, and gain them all back in the bar after the game! There is enough competition to make it fun, but as a league the consensus is good time vibe. Even though it is recreational we still provide quality referees to keep everyone safe. Once the game is over the fun doesn’t stop! Our bar and restaurant, Willie B’s will be open throughout league play for teams to mingle and unwind after big wins and tough losses alike. Willie B’s boast both indoor and outdoor seating, five tvs displaying sports games and park info, a roaring selection of craft and big name beer on tap, and a delicious, newly expanded menu.
