The winning design came from Adrian Portillo, 29, of Roswell. Portillo’s entry received 685 votes on the Silverbacks’ Facebook page, more than any of his opponents in the competition. The Silverbacks will wear uniforms bearing his striped design during the 2012 season.

Today was my first day back in training, but I’m feeling a lot better. I didn’t want to rush anything because with the season right around the corner, I want to be healthy. It was tough not being able to train, so I’m happy to be back today.
